Our Patron
Mr Choo served as the Chairman of M1 Limited and CEO of Keppel Corporation. He is currently a Board Member of National Research Foundation, Prime Minister’s Office, and a member of Science and Engineering Research Council Board of A*STAR. He is also the Chairman of National University of Singapore (NUS) Centre for Maritime Studies, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Raffles Institution, a Management Board member of Institute for Engineering Leadership at NUS, and a member of Singapore University of Technology and Design’s Board of Trustees.
In July 2014, Mr Choo was appointed by NUS as Provost’s Chair and Professor (Practice) in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Department of Management and Organisation, NUS Business School.
Mr Choo was conferred the Public Service Star Award (BBM) in August 2004, The Meritorious Service Medal in 2008 and NTUC Medal of Commendation (Gold) Award in May 2007.
Dr Foo obtained his post-graduate degree in Surgery FRCS from the College of Surgeon of Edinburgh in 1971, and FAMS (Urology) 1991. He is currently Emeritus Consultant and Advisor at the Department of Urology at Singapore General Hospital, having served as the Head of Department from 1988 to 2001; is a Clinical Professor at National University of Singapore and Adjunct Professor at Duke-NUS GMS.
He is the Founder President of the Singapore Urological Association; was the Secretary-General to the Urological Association of Asia from 1998 to 2006 and has been the Honorary Executive Director of the Urological Association of Asia (UAA) since 2010. He is currently a member of the Residency Advisory committee, Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB) under the Ministry of Health.
He was awarded the Public Administrative Medal (Silver) in 2001.
Dr Chua Hong Choon is Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) and Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer (Clinical) of the National Healthcare Group (NHG) in Singapore.
A psychiatrist by training, Dr Chua is also the Chairman of the national Residency Advisory Committee (RAC) for Psychiatry, and Adjunct Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Yong Loo Lin Medical School and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
Dr Chua has keen interests in the fields of public health, psychiatric epidemiology, depression and quality & safety in health care; and he was the first Patient Safety Officer at the Institute of Mental Health, where he developed programmes and initiatives to improve clinical quality and safeguard patient safety in mental healthcare.
Our Distinguished Advisor
Dr Daniel Fung is Chairman Medical Board of Institute of Mental Health and the President of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in all 3 medical schools in Singapore and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr Fung’s research interests are in anxiety and disruptive behaviour disorders and the relationship with learning disorders.
Our Distinguished Advisor
During his career with the Singapore Armed Forces, Dr Cheok was the Commanding Officer of Medical Classification Centre, the Deputy Commander of the Military Medicine Institute and the Head of the Psychological Care Centre. He has served in peacekeeping missions in East Timor and in humanitarian relief mission during the Asian Tsunami.

Mr Tan Siak Hee has owned his own legal practice since 1984.
He volunteers his time to give pro bono legal advice at Brahm Centre. He also holds talks on subjects of legal interest at Brahm Centre.

Mrs Tan-Huang Shuo Mei is the Senior Director, Special Projects at SingHealth. Following a 21-year career in the Central Provident Fund Board, and the then Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports, Shuo Mei built her career in Public Affairs, Customer Service and Public Education. She became Director of the Social Development Unit before joining Singapore General Hospital (SGH) as its first Director, Communications in 2004 and took on a concurrent appointment at SingHealth in 2007. Shuo Mei was also the former CEO of Singapore Cord Blood Bank.

Dr Ho is a Senior Consultant in Otolaryngology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Academy of Medicine Singapore and holds a Master of Medical Education from the University of Warwick. His clinical and research interests are in the management of chronic ear diseases, hearing and balance disorders.
Dr Ho endeavours towards a humanistic practice of clinical medicine. He volunteers with Tzu Chi International Medical Association. Dr Ho believes in empowering patients with robust knowledge of their health conditions by giving free public talks regularly.
CEO & Mindfulness Principal, Brahm Centre
Assoc Prof Chew is the Founder and CEO of Brahm Centre, a charity with 40 staff, dedicated to promoting healthier and happier living. She is a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Dot-b and Paws b mindfulness teacher. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of mindfulness at the National University of Singapore. She has taught mindfulness to more than 10,000 people across all ages. Her corporate clients extend across various industry sectors - from finance (DBS Bank, Goldman Sachs); healthcare (Ministry of Health, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, SingHealth Polyclinics, Institute of Mental Health, Community Psychology Hub, Agency for Integrated Health) reaching out to psychiatrists, doctors, psychologists, nurses and other allied health professionals; to education institutions (Ministry of Education, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Hwa Chong Institution, Raffles Insitution and Nanyang Girls Secondary), just to name a few. Prior to her founding of the Brahm Centre in 2012, Assoc Prof Chew served in senior positions at Singapore Airlines, Visa International, Accenture, Hewlett-Packard and government agencies.
Chairperson of Audit Committee
Ms. Chen’s last corporate role was Managing Director, DP Information Group, part of the Experian® Group, the world’s largest credit reference agency. Experian is listed on the London Stock Exchange and a constituent of the FTSE-100. Within 18 years of heading DP Information Group, Singapore’s largest local company specializing in credit and business information, Ms. Chen turned the companies around by redefining and re-engineering the methods, management and technology applications of DP Info Group and its large data-library. She expanded the company from 30 employees in 1996 to over 150 information & credit bureaus specialists today.
Now retired from corporate life, Ms Chen is keen to spend the next 10 years in social enterprise development work as well as green environment promotional efforts. She is currently the Managing Director of Zeles Network Ltd, a non-profit organization that strives to promote and enhance Singapore’s volunteer movement through a Mobile Multi-Platform Volunteer Management System.
Chairman of IT Committee
Nai Min is responsible for all information technology related activities and services at SLNG. He leads a team of managers, system engineers and business analysts to deliver and operate effective information systems, business processes, and business continuity management system.
Prior to joining SLNG in May 2014, he previously spent 12 years at Accenture supporting multiple clients in the delivery of ERP implementation projects in the Telecommunication and Public Service industries, and 4 years at Unity Healthcare as IT Director leading technology-driven transformation.
Dr Jerome Goh is a Senior Consultant and Chief of the Department of Forensic Psychiatry at IMH. He is also the Clinical Director of Prison’s Psychiatric Housing Unit, which provides mental health treatment and rehabilitation to inmates with mental disorders. He holds
teaching appointments for medical students as Clinical Senior Lecturer with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School.
Joanne is the Head of Finance for Swiss Reinsurance Asia. She graduated from Monash University with double Bachelor's degrees in Laws and Economics, and a qualified Chartered Accountant of Australia since 1999. She has over 20 years of experience in regional management, planning and controlling, finance transformation in the financial services industry.
Joanne manages a regional team of Finance professionals located in 6 countries including Asia Hub in Singapore, with primary responsibilities in meeting the region's regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring finance governance and execution of finance technology transformation.
Since her earlier days as Senior Consultant in PwC Consulting in Hong Kong, Joanne has undertaken change agent challenges in finance function transformation including Senior Vice President handling DBS's evolving reporting obligation in relation to Hong Kong Monetary Authority; Asia Regional Head of Finance & Controlling at Allianz Global Investors addressing Finance data management; and Chief Operating Officer of Credit Suisse Asset Management covering new business growth in the Asia region.
Chairman of Human Resources Committee
He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He was President, Society for Infectious Disease, Singapore from 2008 to 2011. He is an advocate for patients with HIV/AIDS and is currently the Vice President of Action for AIDS, Singapore.
Jesilynn is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.
She is currently the Finance Director (Southeast Asia) of Donaldson Filtration, an NYSE-listed company and one of the largest providers of unique filtration technologies and high quality filters and parts.
She has more than 20 years of experience in different finance positions in multinational corporations.
Dr Tan is an Associate Professor with the Singapore Institute of Technology. Prior to this appointment, she served as the Head of the Occupational Therapy Department at the Institute of Mental Health for 11 years. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a PhD, and also possesses a Masters in Mental Health from Kings College London and BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from University of Exeter, UK.
Dr Tan was accorded the National Day Award Commendation Medal in 2011.
Dr Irene Tirtajana commenced work at JurongHealth Campus in 2012 and currently practises as a Consultant in the Department of Psychiatry of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. In her clinical role, Dr Tirtajana provides care to medically ill patients with psychiatric conditions as well as general psychiatry patients. Her special interests lie in mindfulness-based interventions and the psychological correlates of chronic diseases.
Dr Tirtajana obtained both her basic medical degree and Master of Medicine in Psychiatry from the National University of Singapore. She obtained her specialist accreditation in 2014. She has worked at various hospitals in Singapore and managed patients from a broad range of psychiatric sub-specialties during her training.
Beyond her clinical role, Dr Tirtajana is a member of NTFGH’s Clinical Ethics Committee. She also serves on the Transplant Ethics Committee of the National Organ Transplant Unit.
Dr Tirtajana is a Clinical Lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Apart from teaching medical students, she has given talks and presentations on a range of mental health topics to fellow doctors, Allied Health Professionals and members of the public.

She is currently the Head of Business Information (Asia Pacific) at Experian Singapore, the world’s largest credit reference agency and an FTSE100 company. She served as the Senior General Manager at DP Information Group and the DP Bureau before Experian.
Her career included serving in senior finance positions at three leading American Multi-national corporations such as Micropolis Ltd, Packard Bell, NEC and Digital Equipment Corporation.
She also possesses an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Diploma in Counselling Psychology. To her, it is a privilege to be able to give back to the community and she quips: “In giving back to the community, we actually benefit more than what we give multifold.”
Henry is currently a member of the Scout Council as well as member of the Programme Advisory Committee for English programes at MDA. He is also serving on the Board of Visitors to the DRC / Prison.
Gregor is a German-born, Irish- and American-trained clinical psychologist who has worked with children, families and leaders for more than 15 years. He is the co-founder of Forest Wolf.
He previously led the Learning & Development team at the National University of Singapore's Centre for Future-ready Graduates and has taught over 7,000 students social emotional intelligence and foundational life skills.
He developed and taught the Mindful Psychology module at NUS and co-developed the Roots & Wings Programme with Crystal Lim, Director of the Centre for Future-ready Graduates.
Dr Tan has served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Senior Director (Technology and Planning) at the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), Executive Director of the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R) and Deputy Executive Director at the Science and Engineering Council (SERC).
