Sean Lai

Have you ever felt sad when watching a movie, but still enjoyed it? What if our lives could be experienced that way, to feel all our emotions and be at peace with them at the same time? Sean believes it is possible, if we change the relationship we have with our thoughts and feelings.

And what does it mean to have a relationship with our thoughts and feelings? When we uncover our true self, we begin to have a loving relationship between that true self and thoughts and feelings. We also realise that there was never anything wrong with us in the first place. Sean hopes to guide clients on a journey to uncover their true self.

The modalities he works with are informed by Internal Family Systems, Compassionate Inquiry, Mindfulness, and Brainspotting.

Sean has a Master in Counselling from Monash University and is a Brainspotting Phase 1 practitioner.
