Ms Joyce Low

Joyce was trained as a lawyer and worked in various legal portfolios. In her journey towards a gentler and more sustainable way of living and being, Joyce obtained qualifications in professional life coaching (SUSS) and counselling (Master of Counselling, Monash University), in addition to art therapy (Master of Arts, Art Therapy, Lasalle College of the Arts).

Joyce has experience working with individuals in recovery from addictions, adults with intellectual disabilities and their caregivers, healthcare staff, patients in rehabilitation diagnosed with dementia and patients receiving palliative care. She employs an integrative and flexible approach combining different therapies from Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioural, Acceptance Commitment, Narrative, Person-Centered, Strengths-Based, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and mindfulness to ensure the best client-fit for optimal therapeutic outcome.

Joyce’s current interests lie in salutogenesis, gerotranscendence, mindfulness and shinrin-yoku (forest bathing).
