Ushering in A New Year: Charity Luncheon for Our Senior Generation
In the spirit of appreciating our seniors, Nam Hua Association and Lew Foundation organized a charity luncheon on the 11th of January at SAFRA @ Toa Payoh, with 60 seniors from our MacPherson, Simei, and Tampines centres joining in the festivities. There were performances such as song and dance performances, including a lion dance performance, as well as a yusheng tossing ceremony to bring good tidings into the new year.
The aim of this luncheon was to commemorate and remember the contributions of our senior generation, for the sacrifices they made and the families they built. Through the meaningful celebrations, we hope that our participants felt the appreciation and gratitude aimed towards them, and look forward to the new year with anticipation as well.
