A Valentine’s Day Appreciation Dinner: Expressing Gratitude To Our Ex-Board Chairman

🎵 For she is a jolly good fella, a jolly good fella, that no one can deny! 🎶

We came together to thank our outgoing Chairperson, Ms. Chen Yew Nah, and celebrate CNY with a Yu Sheng tossing salad. Yew Nah would have served ten years on the board this March (a term limit imposed by the Commissioner of Charities) and as the board chairperson for most part her term.

Over a hearty dinner, we shared stories, laughter, and even a few heartfelt dance moves performances by our staff, interns, and guests. Guests included our retired board members and distinguished advisors, It was a night filled with warmth, authentic appreciation, and a touch of nostalgia. We were also treated to a one-hour workshop on “Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness” by trauma expert, Dr David Treleavan from Canada.

Ms. Chen has been a guiding light for Brahm Centre over the past decade, leading us with unwavering dedication and heart. Her leadership has shaped what we are today, and we are deeply grateful for her tireless efforts and generous donation in support of our mission in promoting health and happiness.
While she may have passed the torch, her legacy will continue to inspire us and serve as a volunteer on the HR committee. She had declined to be nominated for awards.

A BIG THANK YOU to Yew Nah! Thank you to everyone for contributing to such a fun and memorable evening.
