Hsueh Ya Wen is a former Ministry of Education educator with 20 years of experience. Having taught students from diverse backgrounds in both primary and secondary schools, she has a deep understanding of the challenges that students face today.
Ya Wen’s personal journey with mindfulness has profoundly impacted her own well-being, fuelling her passion for supporting students’ mental health. As a firm believer in the efficacy of mindfulness, she aspires to empower students to lead happier and healthier lives by equipping them with essential skills for self-awareness and self-regulation. Her expertise is further strengthened by her certification as a Dot-b teacher from the Mindfulness in Schools Project (UK), where she is equipped with the latest techniques and methodologies.
