Prof Samuel Wong
Professor Samuel Wong received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toronto and completed his residency training in Family Medicine in Canada. He has also completed the Master of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University, USA and the Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
He is the Director of the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care, the Associate Dean (Education) of the Faculty of Medicine and also the director of Thomas Jing Centre for Mindfulness Research and Training. For government and public services, he is the honorary consultant in Family Medicine of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority and has been appointed by the HKSAR government as a member of the Expert Panel in Primary Healthcare and Non-communicable Disease, Steering Committee on Primary Healthcare Development, Advisory Council on Food and Environmental Hygiene and Advisory Committee on Primary Care Directory, Advisory Group on Hong Kong Reference Framework for Preventive Care for Children and for Older Adults in Primary Care Settings of the Department of Health. Professor Wong’s research interests include evaluating and developing mindfulness- based and mental health interventions in primary care; evaluating primary care services and developing primary care service models as well as multimorbidity.
黃仰山教授於多倫多大學完成醫學博士學位,並於加拿大戴爾豪西大學完成了家庭醫學實習培訓。他是加拿大家庭醫學學院院士,澳洲皇家全科醫學專科學院院士,香港社會醫學學院院士和香港醫學專科學院院士。他還取得了美國約翰霍普金斯大學公共衛生碩士學位、香港中文大學的醫學博士學位。
黃教授為香港中文大學醫學院賽馬會公共衞生及基層醫療學院院長,醫學院副院長(教育)以及香港中文大學敬霆靜觀研究與培訓中心總監。他是醫院管理局新界東聯網家庭醫學學部的榮譽顧問醫生,香港特別行政區政府食物及衛生局醫療衛生研究基金評審撥款委員會成員。他的研究主要關注於靜觀療法對基層醫療中一些常見病症的效果評估,包括慢性痛症、廣泛性焦慮症、失眠,更年期症狀及兒童專注力不足/過度活躍等。
