Prof David Creswell
Dr. David Creswell, an Associate Professor of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University, also serves as the director of its Health & Human Performance Laboratory. His work focuses on understanding what makes people resilient under stress, in particular, examining the role of mindfulness meditation training on stress reduction and health.
He served as an academic editor for the journal PLoS ONE and his work has been published in general science, health psychology, social psychology, neuroscience, and medical journals.
Dr. Creswell is a recipient of the American Psychological Association and the American Psychosomatic Society Early Career Awards, and was named a Rising Star by the Association for Psychological Science.
