Germaine Tan
Germaine is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with the REACH (North) team, a community wing of Child Guidance Clinic, Institute of Mental Health. She has more than 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families.
Her passion lies in using mindfulness-based interventions to help reduce suffering across the lifespan. She is a certified Mindfulness teacher for school-going children and has attended foundational teacher training conducted by the University of Oxford Mindfulness Centre.
In her current capacity, she conducts school-based interventions, individual and group psychotherapy for those at risk of, or diagnosed with, a mental health condition such as depression or anxiety. Germaine was also a recipient of the MOE Teaching Award (2000) and the Health Manpower Development Award (2012).
