Dr Fadel Zeidan
Dr Fadel Zeidan is a neuroscientist at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and his appointments include Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Associate Director for Research at the UCSD Center for Mindfulness. Dr Zeidan is especially excited at examining ways to integrate mindfulness from the lab to the clinic and community, and his focus areas include working with different patient populations as well as user-friendly approaches in promoting self-regulation of pain. In 2014, the United States National Institutes of Health Pain Consortium awarded Dr Zeidan the Mitchell Max Award for Research Excellence. His research is currently funded by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health and has been well-covered by leading media channels.
