No Pain, No Grain: GUI Bread Making Workshop

Last Friday, our MacPherson seniors headed down to ABC Studio at Funan Mall to attend a baking class, to learn the art of bread-making under the GUI program and to come up with their own gastronomical creations. Under the guidance of the trainers, participants learnt how to knead dough, mix ingredients, and shape batter, experiencing first-hand the process of baking.

Through their own hard work, our seniors went home with delicious rolls of bread and smiles on their faces. As Miguel de Cervantes once said, “All sorrows are less with bread”, we hope the same went for our attendees as well.
