Josephine, who holds a Master’s in Health Sciences (Education), has been an invaluable asset to our organization for the past three years. Her relentless pursuit of excellence is evident in her proactive approach to staying updated with the latest advancements in healthcare. This ensures she provides competent and up-to-date care, significantly improving community care outcomes.

Josephine’s commitment to upholding and enhancing nursing standards, along with her exceptional ability to foster collaboration among team members, has created a supportive and inclusive environment. Her emphasis on trust and open communication has cultivated a safe space where team members feel valued and empowered to share their thoughts and concerns.

Her extensive experience, including her time in mental health acute care at IMH, has been instrumental in developing the capabilities of our CREST and COMIT teams. Josephine’s leadership in harmonizing care programs ensures seamless delivery and continuity of services, enhancing clients’ overall experience and satisfaction.

One notable initiative led by Josephine is the Zoomathon program, developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to prevent social isolation and promote well-being. This program has been a tremendous success, benefiting both the community and our staff by fostering a sense of shared accomplishment.

Beyond our organization, Josephine actively engages with community partners and stakeholders, strengthening ties and promoting a collective sense of belonging. Her collaborative efforts extend to staff training, ensuring that our team is well-equipped to provide optimal care.

Josephine’s dedication to advancing mental health awareness is reflected in her involvement as a co-investigator and consultant in youth mental health projects. Her creative initiatives, including films, stage plays, and webinars, aim to dismantle stigmas and promote empathy within the community.
