Mindfulness Foundation Course

Mindfulness is being fully aware of the present moment, on purpose, and without judgement.  Paying attention to one’s moment- to-moment experience of thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations allows people to recognize how the body and mind respond to stressful situations. This help to improve both physical and mental health, bringing about greater attention control, emotional regulation and self awareness.

Do you want to learn a skill to help you de-stress?

Many studies have shown the benefits of practising mindfulness in improving both our psychological and physical well-being. These include:

  • reduced levels of anxiety, depression, anger and stress
  • improved self-compassion, empathy and satisfaction with life
  • enhanced quality of sleep
  • better cardiovascular health
  • reduced chronic pain

During the 4 sessions, participants will learn and practise skills to help cope with stress to bring about better balance, stability and well-being.
